Managing Sites

Add, edit, and organize the sites you monitor with SiteDash.

Adding a Site

To add a new site to your monitoring dashboard:

  1. Click Add Site from the dashboard or the Sites page
  2. Enter the site URL (e.g., https://example.com)
  3. Choose a monitoring profile (Basic, Standard, or Comprehensive)
  4. Configure notification preferences for this site
  5. Click Save

Editing a Site

Navigate to the site's detail page and click Settings to modify:

  • Display name and URL
  • Check frequency and timeout thresholds
  • Custom HTTP headers or authentication
  • SSL certificate monitoring options

Organizing with Tags

Use tags to group related sites (e.g., "production", "staging", "client-a"). Tags help you filter the dashboard and create tag-based alert rules.

Removing a Site

To remove a site, go to its settings page and click Delete Site. Historical monitoring data will be retained for 90 days before permanent deletion.
