Module Management

Viewing installed modules, identifying outdated or insecure modules.

Module Inventory

SiteDash maintains a complete inventory of every module installed on your monitored sites. Navigate to a site's detail page and click the Modules tab to see:

  • Module name and machine name
  • Installed version and the latest available version
  • Status: Enabled, disabled, or uninstalled
  • Security status: Whether the installed version has any known advisories

Identifying Outdated Modules

Modules with available updates are highlighted in the inventory list. SiteDash compares your installed version against the latest release on drupal.org and flags modules that are:

  • One or more minor versions behind — shown with an amber indicator
  • One or more major versions behind — shown with a red indicator
  • Affected by a security advisory — shown with a security shield icon

Identifying Insecure Modules

The security column cross-references each module against the Drupal security advisories feed. If a module has an unpatched advisory, you will see the advisory ID (e.g., SA-CONTRIB-2026-001) linked to the full advisory text.

Bulk Actions

From the Modules tab you can select multiple sites and generate a report of all outdated or insecure modules across your portfolio. Export the report as CSV for use in your project management workflow.
